Interview FAQ's


What time are the interviews?
Interviews at every location will start at 10.00am. There will be 3 hours of field activities (consisting of coaching sessions) with a presentation following.

Where exactly do we meet?
Please check the location links for exact location details so that you arrive at the right place on time.

Who is meeting me at the location?
You will be greeted by  Andrew Pearce - Regional Director of Recruitment for the United Soccer Academy with other staff members from the US.

What should I wear?
We will spend the majority of the time on the field in a coaching setting. Please wear comfortable, warm sports clothing as we will be outside in all locations

Do I need to coach?
Yes. All candidates will be required to perform a 5-10 minute coaching session. The target age and ability will be decided by you prior to interview to allow you to prepare for the session. We will also be collecting a coaching plan prior to the session.

I have enjoyed all aspects of coaching with USA. From Travel teams to Soccer Squirts'. Every time I have learned something new and my experience has grown massively! Being in America is an experience in itself, meeting new people and travelling around. All in all I have had the best 9 months and would recommend it to anyone!
