Favorite sports teams:
I support Man United but worked at Liverpool for a while so loved their old style of play and Juventus at present are impressing me.
If I could change one rule, I'd:
I would encourage a longer advantage rule; where the referee may call the play back for a foul if the team does not obtain a clear advantage within 5-10 seconds of the foul.
Best thing about working at USA Sport Group:
I have been given the opportunity to teach soccer to players who are less familiar with the game.
Favorite aspect of coaching:
I enjoy the game day aspect of our job. We are able to measure our success and development by playing competitive games on weekends.
Best moment in coaching:
It has to be winning the NJYSA State Cup in the spring of 2011 with the U16 Boys Ukrainian Sitch – USA.
Best moment I've ever witnessed live at a sporting event:
Watching my team (I play with for in USA) win the North Jersey Soccer League 2008 with a last minute winner from former colleague Rob O'Neill; who popped up at the back post in the most unlikely of situations and hammered the ball home - with his shin!!
If I wasn't coaching soccer I'd be: Involved in education in some aspect more than likely in a sports teaching role.
