Summer Development Soccer teams will play in tournaments such as the Hackettstown Blast, Pocono Cup, Rider Cup and Central Jersey Invitational. The teams will contain some of the most motivated and committed players and will compete in the same brackets as Select, Premier and out-of-state ODP teams. This level of competition will compliment the structured training program for each age group. U8 program differs from the regular SDS structure (scrimmage fest and organised on site scrimmages).

-
Can I play year-round on an SDS Team?
No. USA does not run any teams in the spring or fall. There will be no player recruitment to any travel teams, USA trained or otherwise. All coaches, players and parents must sign a waiver that confirms this. The Summer Development Soccer program is designed to be a complement to your current travel team, not a replacement for it.
The fee for the program is $570 per player (U10-U14).The U9 program fee is $399 (2 tournaments, reduced fee.) This is great value considering this fee covers all administration, training, tournament entries and full kit.
You are not required to pay the full amount right away. We can split your fee into two easy payments. Payment for the program must be by personal check or money order . On confirmation of your place on the program you will be required to complete and provide documentation for your players pass, uniform etc.
-
How do I know if my player made a team?
After tryouts have been completed all results will be formulated by the program director. Offers will be made by posting players numbers on the USA website. Emails will also be sent as a follow up.
-
I want to help out in the program, are there any parent volunteer roles in the teams?
Yes, each team will require a team administrator. The team administrator will play a key role in collecting and entering security information for the Fort Dix tournaments, sending out team notifications, schedules, directions, surveying parents for players availability etc. Each team administrator will receive a volunteer pack (USA water bottle and a USA T-shirt) as a token of our appreciation for their efforts.
