- 2004 NJGSCA Coach of the Year - 2007 NJGSCA North II Region Coach of the Year - 2007 NSCAA Regional Coach of the Year |
| Coaching experience: |
I have coached and trained boys and girls travel teams in Branchburg, Watchung Hills and Somerset Hills. Head coach of the Varsity Girls Soccer program at The Pingry School 2001 – present.
| Favorite soccer team: |
Leicester City FC
| If I could change one rule, I'd: |
At the professional level, diving has crept into the game in recent years. This is basically cheating. I would make this an automatic red card and three game suspension for such an act.
| Best thing about working at USA: |
Being around a group of people who have a genuine enthusiasm for the game and desire to coach youth soccer players.
| Favorite aspect of coaching: |
The game itself. We can’t take timeouts during the course of the game to make coaching points or re-group. The game is a true test of how well a coach has prepared a team in the training sessions beforehand, and how successfully a team responds to changes a coach may need to make during the course of a game. After a game, a coach needs to evaluate and then plan accordingly.
| Best moment in coaching: |
Being a complete underdog and beating the tournament favorite 1-0 in North Sectional Final (State Semi Final). A more satisfying moment than winning the State Final itself.
Best moment I've ever witnessed live at a sporting event is:
Leicester City beating Derby County (local rivals) at Wembley in the play – off finals to reach the promised land of The English Premier League.
