Favorite soccer team: Manchester United
If I could change one rule, I'd: Introduce a time-out in each half.
Best thing about working at USA: Getting to be outside on the field every day.
Favorite aspect of coaching: Encouraging players to respect the power of the game and how it makes them feel. It is important to appreciate the highs and lows.
Best moment in coaching: When a player decides that they need to find a way to fix something. I like to nurture decision making and an understanding that allows players to react to whatever a game throws at them.
Best moment I've ever witnessed live at a sporting event is:
Eric Cantona scoring the winner against Liverpool in the 1996 F.A. Cup final.
If i wasn't coaching soccer I'd be: Coaching cricket!
